LIST OF LIBRARIES

The libraries of the Vanvitelli University give informative and cognitive support to the University's didactic and research activities. In recent years, libraries have increased, both traditional and digital, services, accessible to users.

 

ONLINE CATALOGUES (OPAC)

On this page, there are links to the University catalogues Sebina SOL and EDS Ebsco Discovery Service, the discovery tool that also includes AtoZ/Full text Finder, where you can search for information on all the monographic and periodical material catalogued by the University libraries, also retrieving their availability and location. There is also a link to access the Share Catalogue: a consortium platform that allows browsing in the bibliographic catalogues of all the partner universities: University of Naples Federico II, University of Basilicata, University of Sannio, University of Salerno, University of Naples Parthenope, University of Salento, University of Naples L'Orientale, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. Other links refer to national coverage catalogues such as the National Catalogue of Periodicals (ACNP) and that of the National Library System (SBN).

The University Library System Service Centre coordinates all the University library services, with particular reference to bibliographic catalogue standardization, computerization of services, documentation and information dissemination activities; in the areas of its competence, it provides user support tools to make the best use of the University's bibliographic and documentary resources.

 

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY BOARD

The University Library Board, in addition to fulfilling its institutional and advisory duties, promotes all initiatives aimed at the enhancement and dissemination of the book and documentary University assets, relates and cooperates with other national and foreign libraries, participates in integration programmes for library services promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR).
