Matlab & Simulink software

The Vanvitelli University has signed a contract with MathWorks that provides students, professors and researchers access to the MATLAB, Simulink applications.

MATLAB is a development environment for numerical computing, statistical analysis and simulation, used in industry and universities throughout the world. Simulink is a graphical environment for multi-domain simulation and Model-Based Design, integrated with MATLAB.

The Campus-Wide license for University use includes products for analysis, design, modelling, simulation, code generation and product testing for applications in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Medicine and Biology.

An App for all international students of the University created by students

Vanvitelli Students for International Students.

From today, the new app created by the students of the Vanvitelli University for international students can be downloaded on the App store and Play Store.

An app through which students of the Vanvitelli University welcome all international students who are interested in carrying out a mobility activity with the University.

The App “Vanvitelli Students for International Students” offers a first meeting point to start a mobility activity with our University.

This project originates from the "Welcome International Students" competition promoted by the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, which gave Vanvitelli students the chance to stand out and create an App that could help foreign students during a mobility period within the University.

The aim of the competition was the creation of an app for mobile devices - to be developed in English - aimed at providing all the necessary information both before arrival and during the period of stay at our University.

Vanvitelli students have selected and inserted in the app the information of interest for foreign students and the pages of the University and/or Department sites where this information is or will be available.

An activity carried out by students for students aimed at strengthening the sense of belonging, hospitality and integration.

Discounts on Alitalia flights

The Vanvitelli University has signed an agreement with Alitalia under which students, teaching and administrative personnel can take advantage of discounts.

To obtain the benefits it is necessary to access through the University Centralized Authentication Service, with the same credentials used for all the University services.

In recent years, there has been an increasing need to implement relations with companies within the University's third mission activities, which is subject to evaluation by the Italian national agency for the evaluation of universities and research institutes – ANVUR, together with teaching and research. With this in mind, the University offers companies and organizations various services aimed at promoting the matching of labour supply and demand, as well as opportunities for their contribution to the University's research activities, at taking part in the training of professionals in the field of research as well as to the establishment of grants and scholarships for graduates.
